In addition to producing his own documentary series, Sorin has appeared in feature films, television productions, and national advertising campaigns.

One of his most notable acting roles was in Klondike, Discovery Channel's acclaimed television miniseries about the Yukon Gold Rush.

During filming, Sorin shared scenes with Academy Award-nominated actor Sam Shepard and Richard Madden, later known worldwide for his role as Robb Stark in Game of Thrones. His appearance can also be seen in the series' official trailer below, at 0:39.

Sorin also co-hosted a weekly fraud-prevention segment on Breakfast Television (Citytv), where he highlighted the latest scams affecting consumers across Canada. You can watch one of the segments below.
